Wow, it's been over a month since I last posted something, and I really don't know why that is. It's not like I've been overly busy or otherwise occupied. Anyway, I am currently on a two week break from college... finally, it is the first break we've had since we returned in January. So its cool to have a break and basically just laze around. I have an interview on Thursday at Leeds Metropolitan University, so I'm extremely excited about that. Other than that, there isn't really much other news in terms of my education/career.
In my spare time I have paid quite a lot of attention to creating music. Check out my submissions to Newgrounds
here. I think my best one on there so far is Loitering With Intent, but that's just my opinion. Bare in mind I have only been doing this for a short time. I have also been asked to do some music for a game, so that's mainly what I've been working on it's actually going really well and the songs I'm working are probably the best ones I've written so far. They are primarily very simple due to the context that they will be used in, but structurally these songs are a lot more traditional than my other work. I currently have 4 out of the 6 tracks done that were requested, however I have saved the hardest until last so I'm not sure how long these last two will take me. This game is a class project of a friend of mines and the project isn't in a shareable form but he said he will be converting it in to a flash game afterwards, so I hope that all you guys will get to listen to my beautiful music and play his game too lol, however this won't be until at least late May/early June I expect.
Another thing that I have started to do is conjure up random video pieces which I have been submitting to YouTube. Primarily they are just spare of the moment things, kind of glimpses inside things I do, respect and just occurrences. They are almost little art pieces, however I don't stand that strongly behind the artist integrity of them mainly because of the speed and lack of intent in which they were created. All the editing and all that business is just instigating my vision on these moments and it's kind of like I am recreating a feeling with it because I feel bare film can sometimes be very empty.
